One of BBIMRG's core principles, is to help Foster Children and Veterans. With the school year quickly approaching, our President, Jeff, aka Stitch, introduced the idea of a backpack drive to our group members, the response was phenomenal!
With help from our BBIMRG members, we collected 50 backpacks.
Our sponsor, Anderson Powersports Reno, matched our donation with an additional 50, bringing our total to 100 beautiful backpacks.
The packs were filled with basic school supplies donated by Jeff & Lee, and Eric & Angela.
We thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity!
Some of the packs were donated to Austin's House, and the rest were donated to McKinney-Vento in Carson City, Nevada.
These backpacks will go to foster and homeless students, to help start them off on a path to a successful school year.
Thank you everyone, for making our first Backpack Drive a super successful event!
